When Charles Brand, his wife Beth and parents Chippy and Cynthia first opened the doors of Cape Grace in December 1996, their vision was of a hotel that felt more like a good friend's home. The décor and environment needed to reflect its Five Star aspirations, but most importantly, staff needed to relate to guests as personal hosts with warmth and enthusiasm.
Fourteen years later and now owned by Meikles Limited, Cape Grace remains true to its original philosophy of genuine hospitality and a desire to exceed guest expectations. Meikles Limited is synonymous with distinctive and luxurious hotel experiences, owning two other independently managed, award-winning hotels in Africa, each with its own distinctive brand identities; namely Meikles Harare and Victoria Falls Hotel.
