When your name is synonymous with award-winning wines, you don’t need much introduction – and Hamilton Russell Family Vineyards is no exception!  Besides their core focus of producing the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay both locally and abroad, they also have an award list longer than your arm! Proof enough that they are regarded as not only the best in South Africa, but also the best in the New World.

Hamilton Russell is also one of the most southerly wine estates in Africa and one of the closest to the sea, in the old fishing village of Hermanus. Founded by Tim Hamilton Russell in 1975, the estate has now expanded to include 2 additional labels, Southern Right and Ashbourne.

For those who haven’t yet been to Signal Restaurant or who haven’t yet tried our fabulous Tasting Menus, we’ve put a new spin on the traditional Wine and Dine event. In its place, Signal now offers diners the chance to experience our perfectly paired Tasting Menus on a monthly basis – a new winery paired with a new menu each month.

So, from the 22nd of July until mid-August, pick a night that suits you best and come and enjoy the Hamilton Russell premium [and often sold-out] wines along with another exceptional 5 course Tasting Menu. With dishes to entice all palates and preferences, combined with the knowledge of our wine stewards, you are guaranteed a superb night out.

The Hamilton Russell Tasting Menu runs from 22 July until 18 August and both can be paired with or without wines [Meat Tasting Menu: R695 with wine/R495 without and Vegetarian Tasting Menu: R655 with wine/R455 without].
