Last night the Cape Grace team attended the feature film, Mamma Mia, on the opening night of the official Galileo Open Air Cinema in the V&A Waterfront. What a fun evening indeed!

The movie is showcased on a big screen, erected at the furthest end of the croquet lawn in front of the (also) newly launched Springbok Museum. With back-rests, blankets, picnic baskets and loads of open space for kids to play and run around, it’s sure to be a ‘must do’ event to kick off this summer.

You can expect movies such as Pretty Women, The Breakfast Club, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and many more classics, which will entertain and take you back in time! If you are anything like us, you will be singing and applauding right through the show.

If that is not a good enough reason to book your tickets NOW, just look at this view when walking across Bascule Bridge, from Cape Grace.

Prices range from R70-R95 and can be booked directly through webtickets.

For a complete list of all the movies coming up, visit their website and download the respective PDF Programme Copy.  Be sure to print it out and stick it on your fridge and book for your choice of Thursday evening movies – you won’t be disappointed!

Have you ever attended an open air cinema?
