It’s that time of the year again; The Klein Karoo National Arts festival (KKNK) will be taking place from 29 March – 6 April 2013 in Oudtshoorn.  This annual Afrikaans festival includes visual as well as performing arts and has earned the title of the largest South African Festival, based on the number of visitors attending each year – a true honour!

 Below we have listed a selection within a few of the catergories of what can be seen at this year’s KKNK.

Theatre productions include titles such as:

-          100% Volroom Melt

-          Bittersoet

-          Boksballade and,

-          Dowwe Dolla Dink Diep

Musical Performances include:

-          Karen Zoid

-          Emo Adams

-          Amnda Strydom – Ek loop die Pad and,

-          Daar is ‘n Engel in my Koskas

They also offer the little ones some interesting acts; these include:

-          Hansie en Grietjie

-          Hardop

-          Tjiff en Tjaff  1 and 2
