CELEBRITY CHEFS COME TO TOWN

Celebrity chefs are arriving by the day and joining us for the Good Food and Wine Show. If you don’t get to see all the cooking shows on TV, here’s who they are:

Whitney Miller was only 22 when she won the first U.S MasterChef, and subsequently wrote her own cookbook –Modern Hospitality. She’s an original Southern Mississippi belle with an extended family of over 30 people, who would frequently gather for Sunday meals. Her dessert-making talent showcased on MasterChef earned her the title “Pastry Princess”.

Reza Mahammad is a wonderfully flamboyant chef. He inherited a 1950s Indian restaurant in London, which went from flock to Baroque. The one thing we know is that he can cook and entertain at the same time.

Giorgio Locatelli had good  training from an early age since his family ran a Michelin-starred restaurant. He followed in his family’s footsteps and now runs his own Michelin-starred restaurant. He’s considered to be one of the best Italian chefs in the UK and is well known on TV, with his series Pure Italian and Sicily Unpacked, along with numerous books.

Ariana Bundy comes with all the credentials. She has cooked for Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, President Clinton, Brad Pitt and Madonna to name a few. She is the author of Sweet Alternative – the first gluten, dairy and soy-free dessert cookbook. Her latest book Pomegranates and Roses: My Persian Family Recipes, evokes the exotic pleasure of Middle Eastern flavours as influenced by her Iranian roots.

Valentine Warner is a man of many talents; artist, fisherman, caterer, TV presenter and passionate cook. His TV series What to Eat Now explores a real understanding of the natural history of ingredients, from where they were produced to how they were picked, and demonstrates how this all comes together to effect the final dish.
