Last week I had the pleasure of reviewing Signal’s new Tasting Menu featuring Bosman Family Vineyards.

On offer from 19 August until 22 September, it truly is a menu where everything falls effortlessly into place. And with August being Women’s Month, it’s almost serendipitous that female winemaker Corlea Fourie is showcasing her pride and joy. Corlea joined Bosman Family Vineyards permanently in 2007 after consulting for them for a year and manages the vineyards and wines for both the Bosman and De Bos brands – De Bos being the name of the Walker Bay Vineyards owned by the Bosman family and the Adama Appollo Workers Trust.

Situated beneath the Limiet Mountains near Wellington, Bosman Family Vineyards produces outstanding hand-crafted wines that personify their distinct values. With eight generations having worked the land, Bosman Family Vineyards is steeped in history and tradition and, coupled with Signal’s contemporary menus, legendary Cape stories, artefacts and antiques, this is another perfect pairing indeed!

Signal offers diners the chance to experience our Tasting Menus on a monthly basisa new winery paired with a new menu each month. The Bosman Family Vineyards Tasting Menu runs from 19 August until 22 September and both can be paired with or without wines [Meat Tasting Menu: R695 with wine/R495 without and Vegetarian Tasting Menu: R655 with wine/R455 without].
