Nothing can beat the old ‘chocolate mousse’ chestnut, but lately I have been getting my kicks from making chocolate wine. Yes, chocolate wine.
Heston Blumenthal experimented with the tipple by bring the wine to the boil, adding grated chocolate and adding milk.
The result – a dollop of chocolatey perfection, sorting the men from the boys, albeit very unsteady men.

IT JUST TASTES BETTER AT 4AM! Red or white Lindt balls do QUITE nicely.
OR…
At any time of the day or night… to satisfy that overwhelming chocolaty itch – Melt a whole slab of Cadbury’s Top – Deck and eat it with a spoon.
NOTHING compares… EXCEPT, of course, for THE Cape Grace Chocolate Cake!
