For the little ones...

The Big Blue
Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront and see the sea life of South Africa's two oceans - the cold Atlantic and the warm Indian. A kelp forest (one of only five in the world), a two-million litre predator tank (feeding time 15h30 every day), touch pools and penguins up close are some of the attractions.

Birds of a Feather
Visit the World of Birds in Hout Bay, twenty minutes away. It's the largest bird park in Africa with walk-through aviaries, over 3500 birds, small animals and friendly monkeys.

Penguins on the Beach
On the drive towards Cape Point, stop over just beyond Simons Town to see our famous colony of African Penguins.

Garden of Eden
Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the back slopes of Table Mountain, voted one of the top 7 in the world.

Warrior Toy Musuem
Also in Simons Town is this exceptional museum of toys, dolls and miniatures

Old McDonald
At Imhoff's Farm (on the road to Kommetjie, some 45 minutes away) kids can feed, touch and play with the farm animals and also go for rides on the camels.

Tomb Raider
Within walking distance of the hotel. Visit the Scratch Patch and sort through the semi-precious stones which you can take home.

And the not so little…

Great Escapes
Experience the thrill of adventure sailing with the whole family. Sailing clothing is supplied and your personalised itinerary arranged. Within walking distance.

Ride Like the Wind
Experience the thrill of horseback riding through the winelands of Franschhoek or the wide-open beaches of Noordhoek.

Shark!
See the legendary Great White sharks in their own environment while shark cage diving.

Extreme Sports
Several professional companies are experienced in supervising both the initiated and the novice in abseiling, canyoning, paragliding and kite-surfing.

And not-so-extreme
Hiking, golf, cycling and mountain biking, kite flying, kayaking and surfing.
