Welcome Home

You have to stay here at least once in your lifetime.

Welcome to Cape Grace. Situated on a private quay between Cape Town’s bustling V&A Waterfront and the tranquil yacht marina, there is no better position from where to soak in the natural beauty of our Mother City and the very essence of Cape Town living at its best.

Our elegant and warm atmosphere, evident in every fine detail, begins at the welcoming reception lounge and extends to our spacious harbour and mountain-facing rooms.

Stories of the Cape’s colourful past present themselves in our exquisite furniture, rare fabrics, intriguing artefacts and original antiques. Local paintings and sculptures lend a contemporary flair to our décor and feel, while fresh displays of Proteas that hint at the wonder of our natural botanical kingdom enrich each room.

We invite you to share in tailor-made experiences that include our sumptuous tasting menus, rare whisky pairings, luxurious spa treatments, and indulgent Afternoon Teas – all thoughtfully created to enhance your journey in the Cape and with us.

f I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would.

Our first trip to South Africa and Cape Town and we were fortunate to have the Cape Grace recommended to us by our tour company (first time we have gone on an organized trip). From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and looked after. The staff were attentive, friendly and wanted to ensure we had the best stay. As we had spent 2 days traveling to get there we decided to just eat at the hotel rather then explore the city. The hotel already knew I had dietary restrictions (vegan and wheat free) from our tour operators and had been planning menus for me in case we ate there. We were given an upgraded room with a view of Table Mountain and champagne and chocolates waiting for us (we were celebrating a delayed anniversary/birthday trip). I cannot say enough about the restaurant and food. Tatiana our hostess made us felt like family and our sommelier Alvezo spent a lot of time discovering our wine tastes, and recommending vineyards. The food was exceptional- I couldn’t believe the chefs specialty was not vegan food. My husbands omni food was also perfect for him. The menu she designed was amazing and far beyond what I have had at specialized restaurants around the world. The food and service were so wonderful we decided not to eat anywhere else the entire trip. I also had a chance to visit the spa and again the staff were very welcoming- made you feel like you were the only person they were looking after – had a super relaxing massage and pedicure. If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. Great location and impeccable service. Can’t wait to go back!
